When we recommend GoodWe inverters and batteries, it's because they're some of the best-performing, best-value gear on the market. But there's another reason we're proud to fit them: GoodWe genuinely gives back to our community — including right here in the Echuca-Moama region.
Donated solar for CLRS disability homes
Back in 2024, GoodWe donated the inverters for two complete solar systems installed on new homes built by Community Living & Respite Services (CLRS) as part of their Opening Doors Project — purpose-built, safe housing for people living with disability across Echuca, Moama and surrounding districts. The thinking is simple: donated solar wipes out the long-term power bills on those homes, so more of CLRS's funding can go where it matters most — into care and support. You can read GoodWe's write-up of the project here: GoodWe donates two solar systems for a disabled community housing project.
A true local team effort
What makes this one special is that it took a whole local team. GoodWe supplied the inverters, Jinko provided the panels, and AWM Echuca — our own local wholesaler — donated the racking and balance-of-system components, with the installation carried out by Ryan Moorhouse of RGM Electrical. On top of that, AWM and RGM donated the value of the government STC rebates from both systems straight back to CLRS. Over the past decade, the Opening Doors Project has delivered safe, high-quality homes for 22 people in our district.
Recognised again in 2025
The support didn't stop there. In 2025, AWM Electrical Echuca was named a nominee for the GoodWe Goodwill Award — recognising yet another occasion where GoodWe and AWM worked alongside CLRS to raise money for the cause.
Why it matters to us
Every GoodWe inverter and every AWM-supplied system we install comes from businesses that put real money and effort back into the Echuca-Moama community. When you go solar with Solar On Electrical, you're not just getting quality gear — you're backing a local circle of businesses that look after the place we all call home.
